Yes. Fortress is a registered U.S. company based in Fairfax, Virginia, with active client
contracts, legal business operations, and a leadership team with corporate and military
experience.
Yes. All Fortress roles are remote, allowing you to work from home while supporting
clients in the U.S., UK, and other countries.
It depends on the client. We offer full-time, part-time, and project-based roles. Most VAs
work 20–40 hours per week depending on their contract.
Daily Work Expectations
Depending on the role, tasks may include scheduling, data entry, email management,
customer support, calendar management, report creation, and meeting support.
Most VAs are matched with one dedicated client. However, some roles involve
supporting multiple businesses.
We match you with clients based on your availability and time zone compatibility. Most
clients require consistent daily schedules (e.g., 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST).
We offer both. Some roles are fully non-voice (data entry, admin), while others involve
calls, Zoom meetings, or customer service over the phone.
Timeliness, communication, task accuracy, initiative, professionalism, and client
satisfaction are key metrics used to evaluate VA performance.
Pay, Contracts & Benefits
Pay depends on the role, your experience, and the client’s budget. Entry-level roles start
from $3–$6/hour. Specialized or executive roles may pay more.
Yes. All client contracts are managed by Fortress, and VAs are paid directly through us
on a biweekly or monthly basis depending on location.
We use PayPal, Wise (formerly TransferWise), or direct bank deposits, depending on
your country
Yes. Top performers may receive bonuses, referral rewards, and eligibility for client
raises after performance reviews.
Yes. You'll sign a contractor agreement that outlines terms of work, client confidentiality,
pay rate, schedule, and expectations.

Security, Conduct & Culture
Yes. All team members sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect client
confidentiality.
As a contractor, yes—but you must declare any outside clients or employment to avoid
conflicts of interest, especially if it overlaps in time.
Unexcused absences may lead to warnings or termination. Communication is key.
Always inform your team lead or supervisor in advance.
Fortress values discipline, respect, communication, collaboration, and leadership. We
encourage personal growth, feedback, and shared success.
We protect our VAs. If a client is disrespectful or abusive, we intervene or reassign you.
You’re never expected to tolerate mistreatment.
Growth, Support & Advancement
Yes. VAs who demonstrate leadership, consistency, and high performance may be
promoted to Team Leads, Trainers, or Account Managers.
Yes. You will have access to:
– A team lead or supervisor
– VA success support via Slack or email
– Weekly check-ins with your manager
Yes. We offer referral bonuses when someone you refer is hired and completes a
specific period of successful work.
Yes. Many Fortress VAs have been with the company for 1–3+ years and grow into
higher roles as the company expands.
Have a strong resume, clear communication skills, reliable internet, positive attitude,
and show initiative. Experience helps, but reliability and professionalism matter most.
